Blu-ray player under $100 easily does more than an Apple TV when it comes to number of streaming services. Picking up a movie on the way home from work at the gas station or supermarket while getting milk or bread isn't really an inconvenience. I can see csampxp's point.

Xbox live people love some Xbox live. I wouldn't write it of completely. It is the main entertainment hub for many... including myself.
