So most Android phones don't have a real issue with this if that list correct and Verizon's claim is true then? Verizon alone has 50+% of the Android market if I remember right.

This. Easily the best place to find good photography on the net right now.

More options, more often...

Not sure what it is. I was watching Peter Lik's series on the weather channel and could have sworn I saw a medium format style body branded Canon on during one of the episodes. I went searching and turned up nothing.

Pioneered? I'm pretty sure he isn't even close to being the first person to do this.

"Let me be clear up front. To be a Republican is not to be a philistine, or against science by default."

Innovative means new and like a good number of people have pointed out those things Apple were claiming aren't innovative. The judge pointed out the prior art showing those things having been done before in his decision, he just didn't decide purely out of thin air.

Really? Then just what does a patent cover if not a new idea, concept,...?

It is ridiculous. I think I read somewhere though that it was a patent on the bounce when the swipe is too short or it hits the end of the gallery or something, not just swiping through in general. I could be wrong.

Jury? The judge threw out Apples patent claims due to things like prior art...

They only got the 'gallery bounce' ONE. The other NINE were thrown out, including slide-to-unlock. Sounds like Apple isn't as innovative as you want to think they are.

Article is pretty meaningless without more info. All that could mean is that Android users (like myself) need to interact with apps less because of widgets and notifications. I large amount of time I only need to glance at a widget or notification to get the information I need. I don't actually need to open and

I agree, I prefer the way stock Honeycomb looks, but anything is better than just a screen full of icons.

Maybe I need to read the patent, but I didn't know you could get a patent for the way people normally draw maps on napkins.

Looks like a space heater.

I wonder if they meant in transporting the ammo?

He questioned the quality of the HD in the vid not the meaningless framerate (there are 2k+ cameras shooting over 1000 fps).

Looks like I'll be playing with this on the Xoom with my 5Dii and 7D this weekend.

Well sure, but it's still a work of fiction. Systems bore people to begin with so film makers often compress their effort and make them magic.

psssst Things in movies are often not meant to be real or even realistic.
