No - I'd rather get an update before the next one is released. ICS was introduced over a year ago, and I JUST got the update yesterday.... AFTER a new one was announced.
Just got ICS this weekend on my Razr. Very odd to be getting a new update AFTER they've already announced the next version.
I noticed Facebook wanted to sync with my Razr contacts. I basically told it not to. There were three options given to me. I don't remember what they were... but I set it to stay the same. I did not want all my FB contacts on my phone.
Trending Videos, Chat Sidebar that lists a bunch of contacts - not just officially online ones, Picking and choosing what FB thinks I want to read, putting like posts together (Joe Blow and 4 Other Friends posted about Lifehacker), Sponsored posts in the middle of my newsfeed.
Okay - yeah, that one I might give ya. :)
"Siri - Schedule an office meeting for 4:00 tomorrow..."
Oh I somewhat agree. I was just saying that, yes, you can do it - but you have to use an app. It shouldn't necessarily "have" to do it - but one would think that it would.
:::Redacted:::
Of all the things it's missing? I mean the weather app was nice when iPhone came out - but since then... download an app.
There's an app for that.
Yeah - There are no other options. Why did they even ask what you use? There's only unlimited. Weird.
Actually - using the link you gave to VZW's site... it's much easier.
I worked for a Verizon retailer in a city that has a population of 50,000 - A hospital, several clinics, private doctors officers galore... And - I worked in a strip mall that had a urgent care clinic in the same building - just a few doors down.
Beta released today - expect general release of iOS6 in September/October...

Siri's voice dictation and commands is pretty nice though. I had FAR more success with "text my wife and tell her I'll be late" than I've had with Android's "Voice Actions."
You can dismiss a notification. Swipe from right to left.
So here's the big question...
It seems to me that facebook wants to be a place of memories for people (with the new timeline) - they should be all over this.
