I won’t.  I didn’t see the first one until I was catsitting a friend’s house and saw that they had it.

Well for me I replaced an ‘08 Fit with 189k on it because I do pizza delivery and figured I was nearing the point where things breaking randomly will become a feature of my life, which gets expensive when it’s not only fixing it, but losing work at the same time.

Pretty sure the loans were a lot smaller, and the job opportunities a lot better, at that time.

In my current situation I have to drive 10 minutes to get to the nearest public transit, so that’s not an option.

Putin probably spent like...$5k or something on the 2016 election and in exchange has gotten 3 years of shrieking and frothing from the Left. Your hypothesis is very much confirmed.

Mmkay. But the Left really hates paying for the big stick. REALLY hates it. And you gotta pay for it, or else it shrinks pretty damn fast.

I would much rather hand over responsibility to someone else. If the EU was a viable choice I’d gladly tell them “You fuckers take care of shit.” But if we step back from leading the world then the most likely replacement is China, and I don’t think that will be better for anyone except the Chinese.

From watching the people on the Left talking on the news.  And before you start frothing, I don’t watch Fox News.

I suspect that Trump did know about that. However that doesn’t explain why we couldn’t use them against people that didn’t have them, and were not explicitly protected by those who do.  Or use them against non-civilian targets.

Will they? Would Russia nuke us if we dropped a nuke on Iran? Would Britain? Would China?

It’s not crazy at all. If you put down the Leftist propaganda Trump wants to be the President of America, not the president of the world. Most of our foreign entanglements over the last few decades have not benefited us.

Because it’s a legitimate question. The answer is “Because people will be mad at us.”

And they are actively throwing out the people that can tell the difference.

It’s just Leftism talking. We have to abandon all military power and then everyone else will suddenly agree. Any sign of military power being flexed is a catastrophe that will certainly plunge us immediately into nuclear war.  Etc.

It’s not really surprising. We had the capabilities before, it’s unlikely that we threw away all the technical specifications.  Besides that it’s trivially easy to modify existing designs that are longer or shorter ranged to have a few hundred more or fewer miles of range and bring them into previously denied…

Because after all those years and hundreds of dollars you got to pick which color you liked best and nothing you did up to that point mattered.

It’s a type of person that will pay you $500 for your worn out old car as long as you’re buying a car from them.
