Basic Economy are not Revenue Standby. Those are paid passengers who have missed a previous flight for some reason - or are trying to get out early - and who are on the list as a standby for the current flight. They will go before any nonpaying (mostly employees) passengers on standby.

Fuck everyone involved in this story. Fucking morons.

>>Unless an exit row isn’t a bulkhead. You can still put things under the seat in front of an exit row, it just has to be ALL THE WAY under that seat

Gonna go out on a limb here and say that maybe people that need to be on oxygen shouldn’t be sitting in the exit row at all.

I guess you’re being specific. I don’t travel with small animals nor an oxygen concentrator. I’ve have seen people switched out of exit rows for far less. In looking up the rules for those, Southwest and a few others specifically state that these are reasons that one cannot be in an exit row.

The exit row non-baggage

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like a WiFi Direct connection going on.

Related: A JetBlue gate agent told me earlier this year that their company doesn’t oversell flights. I didn’t verify, so take that as hearsay. I know for sure from friends in the industry that Delta does oversell, as does United.

Personally? Roku is better in every regard.

From your link: “All major U.S.A. airlines and others such as Qantas and Virgin Australia have banned the devices.” So good luck with that.

I was going to try and play Devil’s Advocate based on experience (hey, it counts!), but, on IMDB, Adele actually has more writing and producing credits than Peter, although her writing is primarily TV, Peter only has 3 screenplays to his credit to her 14 - so that explanation is actually NOT A THING!

In the words of Thor “All words are made up”

That’s not quite true. It can also be used as a direct object:

Dietary laws are not about science or health or anything else. They’re about reminding you of what you believe. If you’re an observant Jew, there are some things you don’t do, and some ways you do things that make you distinctive. If you’re an observant Latter-day Saint, there are some things you don’t do, and some

Agreed. I was a paramedic, and also a fierce skeptic of organized religion. 20 years ago, an F5 tornado ripped through our rural community. One of the first communities to step up was the LDS. They showed up every single day, in terrible conditions and broiling heat, with a smile on their faces, and helped people

Your pet must be harmless, inoffensive, odorless, not excessively noisy, not show any signs of illness, and require no attention during transit. It must not pose any hazard to the safety or comfort of any passenger.

Given that I’m phobic of dogs, having been mauled when I was 7, is there a way for me to see if there are any around me before boarding? Is the best approach to check in with the gate crew when I’m waiting to board, or would they even know?

That is a lot of moving parts. Imagine if tipping didn’t exist and everyone made a living wage. All of that would go away.

I worked in an local (non-chain) pizza delivery place about a million years ago. Drivers did every step of the process except the making of the dough and sauce (usually closely held secrets). It was every driver for themselves on tips since it was just the owner and the drivers. This was an after-school job for me, so

I’m glad that this has sparked such discussion, and you’re right in that there are elements of the two jobs (driving vs making) that are unique.
