Ah, cool. Yeah I tend to go back and forth between pony and Transformers avatars. It's kind of funny that it ended up that I used Transformers on EqD, and I use pony on the Transformers site I go to.

That gif preview is terrifying.

Oh God! They tracked me down! *runs away*

It looks like they didn't come out to play. Maybe they don't like us anymore. :(

Did you get stuck in traffic. We expected you here half an hour ago.

How can anyone hate on a group that just found out the thing they love was handed over to Gameloft? That's like kicking a child who just watched his parents die.

Considering that there are people at Hasbro and DHX that have said that they are waiting to play some of the fan games, I would think that Hasbro doesn't care and would hopefully stop Gameloft from giving the fans crap.

It gets weird when they start asking me if there's any new pony music that they might like.

There are several of my friends that don't like pony, but they will still listen to the fan music (as long as the lyrics aren't blatantly pony related).

The comments here are going to be my entertainment for the rest of the work day.

It's going to be hard for them to beat Fighting is Magic.

An MLP RPG could work pretty well. Give it some nice SNES style graphics and a Chrono Trigger style battle system and I'd play it. Sadly that will never happen. I'll have to be happy with the fan made games.

Ah, the pause button, the only thing that the Atari 5200 controller did right.

The retool version is awesome, way better than than the old mold.

F-Zero GX had everything that I as a "hardcore" racing game fan wanted. It was fast, required a ton of skill to play, had great tracks, had very little to no luck based elements, and great controls.

Did you just call GX dumbed down? Are we even thinking of the same game? GX is often noted for it's difficulty, and has several times made it on "hardest games of all time" lists.

I never liked the X tracks. I felt like they spent way too much time focusing on flipping you around and not enough on making sure the tracks elements flowed together. GX's tracks just work better from a game-play perspective. Not to mention the locations themselves are way more memorable in GX.

OK, I don't remember the load times being that bad. In fact, I just fired up the game to make sure I wasn't misremembering things. The worst load time I found was about 1.5 seconds. If I wasn't looking for them I wouldn't even notice.

Let's not forget that GX gave us the greatest credits song of all time. The song starts at about 1:20, but you should probably watch the awesomely cheesy cut scenes before it too.

Here's another HD shot. If there's any track you want a screenshot of, just let me know and I'll try to get one uploaded.
