Yeah, it's a bit short, but for whatever reason it always seemed to sync so well with the show itself. Right when I hear those first few notes, I immediately relax and get in Twin Peaks mode. It is sort of a strangely paced song for a television theme, though, and I could see how repeated listens would only exacerbate…

I really dig this beat. Solid track.

Yeah. I was unimpressed when I saw them 2 or 3 years ago at Bonnaroo. But, in the interim, I got more into them and bought everything from Sung Tongs forward. Then I saw them last weekend at *gulp* Pitchfork Festival, and they put on a hell of a show.

I love the second half of this song. Took me the longest time to get into these guys, but man was it worth it.

That happens to me a lot, too. Not with Dominican cashiers necessarily, but I always find it amusing that people are more willing to chalk it up to some sort of unexplained defect rather than their own ignorance.

Please tell me you actually used the phrase "foam-generating dongle" while explaining this to them. Double points if you were wearing any Cal Tech gear. At least that way they can "LOL at teh nERD at work today" when they get off.

It would behoove them to coincide this promotion with "Free Bowl of Soup" night.
