Agreed. Christ, I feel like I'm about to get Talented Mr. Ripley'd. I better watch you around my sensitive documents before you kill me and assume my identity/record collection.

On a similar note, I really like Frosting on the Beater as well. Solid album IMO. And, yeah, Elliott Smith is/was amazing.

Believe it or not, that was the song I was going to post before I decided on Nightime. But yeah, I've heard most of that album. Chilton's backing vocals on that particular song are just killer. Harmonies don't get much better than that. Also this song rules.

We would get along well in real life, I imagine. I love Big Star. Here's another good one.

Great, great, great track.

I'm fairly certain you're my college roommate. He played this song every Friday/Saturday night for 4 years.

"You're a Big Girl Now" from BotT. The "corkscrew to my heart" line gets my every time. He usually isn't that explicit in his lyrics.

I always liked his vocal effort on this one.

Thanks! I'd like to think that with the amount of time I spend listening to and/or thinking about music, I'd have at least somewhat refined taste.

I'll cop to this, too. I'm not afraid to let people know when I've been right: Leinart, JaMarcus Russell, Reggie Bush, etc., so I have to man up when I'm wrong. I thought he wasn't big enough and couldn't hit the 3.

That's my favorite dynamic in the show. I love the scene when they're in the hospital and Killface is congratulating Simon for being so strong and tough, and then he says something like, "We can get you a Dora the Explorer band-aid Simon, hmm? 'Swiper no swiping.' Simon....'Swiper no swiping'...no? nothing? OK, then."

Oh, they totally had me when the twins don't know who Shelley is and Killface is incredulous.

Definitely check out Frisky Dingo. Especially if you like Sealab and/or Archer since it's the Adam Reed show that falls between those two and, honestly, the humor is sort of a mix between the type found in the aforementioned shows.

Man, no love for Frisky Dingo up in here?

Not sure, but apparently Teenage Fanclub/Geffen Records had to cough up for the front cover of Bandwagonesque.

Gene Simmons just called his lawyer. (Bizarrely, he actually has that trademarked. Not even kidding.)

Hendrick's Gin on the rocks.
