This feels like Type-0 with the art style of XIV. Type-0 had the opening cutscene with the wounded chocobo that had me like whoa.

So as someone who casually plays and is stuck at 509 LL I should avoid this at all costs?

I just started playing Yakuza Kiwami and other than the tone and subject matter it’s what I’d imagine a modern Shenmue would be. I’d love to give Shenmue 3 a pass due to the nature of its development but I can’t in good conscience do that if the results are going to be this bad. Especially compared to a modern

A similar phrase was in Xenogears and Xenosaga. Ye/You shall be as gods.

Final Fantasy XIII suffers from proper noun syndrome for me. Too much talk of L’cie and Fal’Cie without any context for what these things are other than L’cie being indentured servants that either fulfill their vague purpose and get turned to crystal or fail and become monsters. I put maybe 60 hours into it before my

Bro Transistor? Bastion? sigh :(

there’s a really convoluted way to redownload it using VPN. I managed to redownload it myself

I hear you its more of without save points I never got into the habit of saving before dungeons or on the world map. I would usually just pause the game and come back to it.

The lack of inns didn’t really bother me so much of the lack of save points and in game map. Granted I played on PS4 so I had the luxury of just putting it in rest mode but it really became a problem later on in the game when I died and realized I hadn’t saved in a while. Also with the snow motif I found myself

It's not just a remaster. It's a full remake. The mechanics are tweaked the graphics are redone. Not only that it even features an HD remaster with everything the same as the original just with hd graphics. You can even play it in 4:3 like the original

I logged in like 45 hours between the Vita and PS4 versions. Probably 60/40 Vita PS4. The vita version does dip below 60 when a bunch of enemies and effects are going but it’s not enough to ruin the gameplay loop.

I read somewhere that Project Setsuna ran pretty poorly on Vita. Maybe that has something to do with it. Personally being that I don't travel with my Vita remote play seems like a viable alternative. I played half of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth on my vita remote play.

I used to do it a lot for PlayStation 1 games before PSN became a big thing. At this point I’ve bought most of my old library on PSN. The only game I really still play is Mega-man Legends because its either that or pay like $100 bucks on the resell market.
