I want "Hogwarts: A History." First the book, and then the 10- or 20- part BBC documentary narrated by Hermione Granger, in her best "It's levi-O-sa, not levi-o-SA" mode, featuring interviews with important figures in the present-day wizarding world (Harry, Ron, Kingsley Shacklebolt), BBC (or would it be WWN) radio

This is BY FAR the most difficult thing I've had to write for this website.

I love you SO MUCH for being able to lay this out in a way that is both sensitive to victims of harassment (Including the First Lady of Crazy, if indeed she is) and reminds us.... this lady is this lady. She may well be telling the truth, buuuuuuuut the truth is not her strong suit. WAY TO STRADDLE A DIFFICULT LINE,

Is it okay just to say how much admires Professor Hill? Her coolness, her self-possession under pressure, her elegant logic......she's one of my heroes.

I like liberals but I'm not a cat.

" yet growing up in the south it was just kind of a casual thing."

Thanks! I'm active in the skeptic/feminist community so I purposely adopted two black cats (unrelated, they were born a month apart) and gave them lady-scientist names. I'm hopeful that little Hypatia doesn't meet the same fate as her namesake, however.

8 years ago in October a woman went to a flea market in Llano Texas where she saw 6 dogs. She came back the next day and there were only 3. Happy he had sold 3, she asked about the other 3.

These are my two furry roommates, Louie and Marley. Louie is the fat, orange tabby and Marley is the pretty lab mix. I've had Louie for pretty much my whole life-my parents got him for me at a garage sale when I was five and he's now reached the ripe old age of 20. He is such a lover, literally wants the all the pets

My turn. It's Scout! Part foxhound part something else (greyhound possibly?)... all awesome.

Athena was found under a car with her newborn pups and taken to a Georgia kill shelter. Our local shelter here in Jersey has an arrangement with Georgia, and she and the pups were shipped up here, whereupon all the pups were adopted out, and our girl was left, waiting, in her crate. First dog I saw when I visited.

My sister rescued a one eyed shih tzu too. We got a three legged rescue. Good dogs, those tzus.

Love this story! This is my rescue pup Maeby! She is so full of love and kisses all the time. She is just the BEST.

Here are my two beautiful girls:

My rescue doggie, Lo, and the child she happily tolerates. The dog is an angel. I once tearfully confessed to my boy that the dog was my soulmate—he just looked at me and said "I think she's mine too."

Perfect opportunity to show off my rescue baby, Patrick

Here is my rescue Pitmation. Meet the JOEBEARASARUS.

He rescued me.

Roo McClanahan (yes...that's her name) is a rescue and while she doesn't have the motivation to compete at Westminster, she's "best in show" of my heart every night.

"I can flyyyyyyyy!"
