skyactiv weight savings? lol

Do Want! That would be a badass little commuter!

Same here. Definitely better than my old rice rocket.

2013 CX5 Sport owner here (2.0l, 6spd, 87 octane); My lifetime average for the car is 29.5mpg and on a recent tank was about 30.6mpg with 3/4 of the miles being highway driven. I've found that the limiting factor for our cars is aerodynamics. I get ridiculously good readings on the economy gauge when I am drafting

36mpg? you must be a very responsible driver, no sarcasm intended!

Not bad. When I had my 2003 Matrix 5spd, I was getting 28mpg mixed and down to 26 when i was driving like a punk lol.

The one on my Mazda cx5 seems to be accurate (based on the first month of usage) so thereafter I stopped doing manual calculations on my gas receipts.

My sentiments exactly. Worst Bond ever. Even with Lazenby included in that comparison.

I hope to find one of these in the future and restore it.

You've got my vote.

And its as simple as this folks. I had a Matrix powered by the same 1ZZFE engine as the MR-S. It was a lump of shit. While its true that Celica GT, Corolla, Matrix, and MR-S guys could cross shop turbo (and in my case supercharger) options; the gearbox couldn't handle much more power and the base engine was just an

aye!

Seconded! I came here to post this. Having a fuel economy readout in realtime is as good as having a throttle position sensor on your dashboard.

Will there be a manual?

Wait, why hasn't this been posted yet? Mazda CX5 people! Safe, fuel efficient, can be had with 6spd manual, fun to drive (even if its not winning any drag races), good cargo capacity, roomy enough for babyseats and adult passengers in back seats, and the height is not too tall to affect handling but is tall enough so

Thanks! a solid 5mpg better than my CX5 anyway.

do you have the turbo or non-turbo? i've been curious to get a "realworld" mileage report from an owner or two.

gahh, cannot unsee!
