Agreed, it has evolved nicely on its own for 25 yrs without having to resort to "retro" (lazy) styling.

could be worse I guess.

Had the volume too high on my headphones, I am now bleeding from the ears. But at the same time I shed a tear of joy, what a beautiful sound!
<guy in the next cube shakes his head at me>

I agree, my response was about the WRX, not the STI. There's no excuse for the STI coming out with a new body, but same engine, same power, same transmission... sigh :-/

I almost bought the 2013 Impreza wagon 5spd; but only because I was entertaining the idea concurrently with thoughts of aftermarket turbo or a BRZ engine swap. My point is, I'm sure others have thought of this Franken-car idea.

How about a slightly different insight?

Amen!

At first I was like:

It'll never come to the states, but dear Lord I want one...

#4 looked almost like CGI; total badassery.

sweeeet ride!

Ahh that I can agree with!

Interesting, I actually WANT a vehicle with a long, low roof line.

all of the above, plus a 6spd manual please.

good points!

It was actually good, and trust me I usually avoid Korean Dramas!

too easy?

Oliver Platt Signature Series Veloster: Non-Turbo engine (but grille from Turbo), special corduroy upholstery, signature decals on dash and tailgate.

Yes! A4 with S-line parts maybe?

No manual, no turbo, (no wagon)... No reason to buy a Subaru Legacy!
Oh well, there is always the Mazda6 in this segment (2.5L direct injection, 184hp, 25/37mpg, 6spd manual available)
