the autotragic gearbox has better ratios for fuel economy (25cty/34hwy)

Did your part of Europe at least get the RUN-X? it was a corolla hatch that was out in UK same time as the Matrix was in the US. That seemed like a nice enough little hatch, and with the "Z" trim you would have gotten a 2ZZGE 190hp engine with 6spd manual.

I see what you did there, bravo.

Whole-heartedly agree. I had a Matrix for 8 yrs and it was excellent for hauling stuff in my college years and moving from the west coast to the east coast. Perfect design for small child duty as well. I traded in for a Mazda CX5 because the matrix was getting old and I couldn't afford any new (desirable) wagons.

Intriguing! I like that idea.

Like the company, it has potential. The Kizashi is a nice car. The Swift is an excellent car (if they had brought it state-side) which would have given them market share in the small-yet-sporty and decent-on-gas categories in the US market; direct competition for Mini. This s-cross could be much better than the SX-4

As someone who only recently moved out of Miami, I agree with your last statement whole-heartedly!

I did this too! When I became a manager I found someone to cover the early shift so I could come in at/after 9am and leave at/after 6pm. This allowed me to travel right after peak traffic times and de-stress my commute.

so worth it if it means saving your father's life though.

My question is, will it be torture tested properly before launch?

Not sure about the newer model Hilux, but I owned a '94 2.8D and it was a workhorse. Top gear couldn't kill the Hilux, and neither could the Jamaican roads I grew up driving.

Florida would either be a dangerous place to be, or a ghost town!

Giggiddy!

looks like a fire hazard to me...

Swiffer FTW.

oh look a story about NASCAR... yawn.

155hp on the 2.0L Skyactiv CX5. I own one, and honestly it doesn't feel under-powered when driven with a manual transmission. The direct injection and high compression give it a great torque band, which I find more usable than peaky horsepower numbers.

Picture approved!

That was GREAT!

Well said.
