I've only done NASA HPDE level 1 a few times, but I got a feel for the proper driving line and apexes. I like your explanation of late vs early apexing more than what I got out of last track session though.

same here. Until I buy my own place, none of this shade tree mechanic stuff applies to me. Pity too, because i knew everything about my old car, and usually carried spare parts in the trunk along with my toolbox.

I wonder how long it took for the new vein to be "grown"? Regenerative medicine will require speed and complexity for it to become mainstream. I am not even going to think about cost :-x

Gone are the days when "bumpers" actually earned their name by being able to withstand minor collisions while protecting the car. My sis backed into a hydrant at like 2 mph and dented her rear mazda3 bumper, I saw it and squeezed the dent at the corners and it popped right back into place.
