I love the cheer that went up at the climax of the disaster. "Yay! They must've meant to shoot those fireworks in random directions, 20 feet off the ground. Moar!!!"
"But the ereader you buy today will be perfectly good four years from now. There's not a tablet in the world you can say that about."
There have been conflicting reports re: use of the Bushmaster, but I'm seeing that it was in fact the weapon used. Either way, most mass shootings do involve assault weapons (even if it comes to light that that wasn't the case in Newtown).
Does the brand of the gun really matter?
This line of thinking cracks me up: "I treat my job like shit, because they pay is shit". That's pretty much the best way to guarantee you'll always have a shit job with shit pay.

You know that if Apple would let AT&T start iPhone 6 reservations today, they'd do it.
As opposed to the loser having to fly first. Given the unproven, dangerous nature of early flight attempts, it's not infeasible to think that you would want the other guy to be the guinea pig.
I think the headline is worded oddly enough that it could have applied as much yesterday as it does today, and will tomorrow.
