Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3. Take the 300 SEL which at the time had a 3.0 six as the standard engine and throw in the 6.3 litre V8 from the 600 Grosser. Leave the looks alone and a sleeper that could surprise many of the muscle cars and sports cars of the day.

The MB 500 E.... Possibly one of the best platform ever produced by MB (W124).  Built by Porsche for MB.  5.0L V8.... pretty hot rod in my opinion.

The Lotus Carlton.... Started out as a lowly Vauxhall Carlton or Opal Omega. A car that can do 280 Km/h, 377 hp, 419 lb-ft, from 3.6 L I6... all in 1990

Dodge Lil Red Express. One of the few (if not only) factory vehicles to come with semi-truck exhaust stacks!

If you’re considered “undesirable” because of your race or sexuality that’s wrong.  But if you’re “undesirable” because of your actions, that’s just called consequences.

Literally thousands. You just don't hear about them in stories like this because they aren't douchebags.

IMHO, the most alluring car to come out of the 80's is the Ferrari 288 GTO.  I remember seeing it for the first time in a window of a dealer in Beverly Hills and couldn’t take my eyes off of it.  But since it is made of unobtanium, I’ll go with the Audi Quattro.  Pretty much unobtainable now, but wasn’t at the time.

The 308's tune was pretty mild especially in the US, but the same could be said of most 70's and early 80's cars. They also share the same architecture with all the later Ferrari V8's up to the 360 which gives them a lot of tuning potential and they were pretty overbuilt too. There are several companies that have

Good. She should be in jail for an incredibly long time. Why is somebody with 13 previous car crashes allowed anywhere near a motor vehicle? You should have scooter privileges only after multiple documented self-caused wrecks.

Fine.

Just take a bus.

None of the consumer printers, in my anecdotal experience from the past 10 years. Fleecing is the entire business model as businesses and individual continue going paperless.

2018-ish, as gently used as possible, Rolls Royce Wraith for me:

It probably doesn’t actually count but... the Crossroad.

What kind of music do you play here?

But why does the dashboard look like a 90s boomblaster just threw up? Is that the taste of the typical 1%er buying these?

The oddball badges from the 80s that proudly proclaimed things like 5-speed or fuel injection like it was a big deal.

Currently living in Germany, I am with you that the public transportation here is too expensive. Excluding the 9 euro ticket, obviously. It only really makes financial sense if you buy a monthly or yearly subscription and use that subscription 4+ times a week. So, for commuting. This assumes you own a car regardless

Trains are pretty expensive (though I think British trains, for example, aren't cheaper). However, commuter tickets (abo) are affordable and comparable (cheaper) than using a car every day. I'd have to drive 90km of Autobahn each way to go to work. I'd rather take the train.
