I moved here from Canada about a year and a half ago, and to say it was a culture shock, specifically related to the cars, is an understatement. Probably a full 25-35% of the cars I see on a regular basis here would get pulled off of the road for missing body work, inoperable lights, a million other things, and they

I came here to provide Memphis content if any hadn’t been yet. I am not disappointed. You could set up a lawn chair at Shelby and Lamar and spot two dozen like these or worse an hour.

A box of kittens.

It what plants crave!

I agree except for Ford had made the decision to axe all of these models in North America long before the pandemic was a thing.

You can currently get the full time 4WD in the 4Runner with the Limited trim, I don’t see them stopping that for the 6th gen.

AV Club has disappeared off the ticker at the top with no notice. I assume they got sold and had their staff railroaded just like Deadspin? I hope your resume is up to date!

I know its the wrong gen for what you posted, but check out the MST MKI and MKII escort restomods. Classified as brand new vehicles.

I am convinced that the 4.0 in my 4Runner will outlast the heat death of the universe.

Ahh the old Pope John Paul II treatment

a debilitating stroke would be a lot more fun than a heart attack

What would be really crazy is if one of the Big Three, Ford for example, replaced the V8 as the main engine in their trucks with a turbo 6!!!! Can you imagine the pandemonium that would create?!?!?!

I am quite fond of our three-car garage. 2018 F-Type V6 RWD, 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-road, and a 2023 Audi A4 Allroad. Those three vehicles cover 100% of the automotive needs that could ever arise for us. If it has to be narrowed down to two, just pick whichever you like more of the wagon and the Runner.
