"Equitably redistribute the worlds wealth such that the difference between the poorest and the wealthiest was less than 100x"
Well, as far as Marvel U prosthetics go, they're often as good as the real thing.
I never entirely understood Curt Connor's story. We're talking about a universe where cybernetic implants, cyborgs, super-regeneration, technoorganic lifeforms are almost commonplace. Why the whole hassle of splicing together human and lizard DNA, when you could just as well get a fully functional (or one actually…
Exactly, at least for the second part. A point just exists - it does not have a single dimension. You cannot measure it's width, height or length, it just is. If you would argue that a point is 1-dimensional you would need to point out what dimension you can attribute to it.
"A point, a one dimensional object"

Eh. Changed my location from UK to US (living in neither), still great, though I hoped the 10 hrs per month wouldn't be there. Oh well, sticking to my mp3s. Shame, really, I really loved the app when it was free-free, but I guess the best things in life don't last long.
Probably the Time Lords just claimed what was rightfully theirs.
This annoys me greatly. I've seen kits for making it on sale and I'd like to try it, but I'm afraid I won't like the taste and I'll waste money on crap I won't drink/use anyway UGH.
Notepad++ is a powertool, for more day to day edit and code viewing needs I use Sublime Text 2 (which entered beta phase a few days ago). What can I say, it's fast and I'm a dog for eye candy and dark UI.
Wow, this is excellent so far. Pro tip: if you can't see new "pokkis" just unlock the taskbar (and, optionally, lock it again). Wasn't that obvious for me.
I'd worry less about security in the sense of someone seeing my stuff and much more about someone deleting my stuff. External backup time!
I just tear the greens off, in a very manly way.
Nope, not considering it until deleting arrives. I used to be happy with a simple file hosting service and used it often, until I hosted a package of private holiday photos there out of habit (nothing bad, I just didn't like the idea of strangers looking through my private pictures). I was nervous for a week (mostly…
But I like doing mazes. Wonder if there's any chance of a Windows version?
Seriously, just find an art student and ask him to paint something for you or buy something from him. They make lots of stuff for classes, most of it is pretty nice and they'd be happy to make a quick buck, especially since they often have pieces lying around they don't need. Hell, I'd be happy to get rid of some…
We'd have to call it Betweennet, or whatever. At least that wouldn't be Internet for me anymore.
But how does this work? Does it estimate the time needed based on Google Maps, or does it take its information from elsewhere? Where will it work (namely - will it work in Europe)?
