I will uphold my stance that Windows 8 is really easy to use just based on my parents. They may be not completely computer illiterate, but they're not that fly either - just regular non-tech users I guess. I just installed it, sat them in front of it, showed them: this is how you open the start screen, this is the

I don't suppose this eldonreader supports feed import? I only see this field to enter a single url, not even an about page or any settings... it seems bare.

This is greeeeat.

Hey guys, do you think it's possible they'll still add any more new languages to Siri? I was thinking of upgrading my old 3G to a 4S maybe, and pretty much everyone bashes on how useless Siri is, but I still wanted to try it in my native tongue.

I dunno if it's just me - that Gordon Ramsay recipe is delicious, but I have to scrub the pan for like 30 minutes afterwards to get it clean. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

This seems like it overly complicates a very simple problem.

Eh. I got shivers at the beginning, but the song got more and more shitty with time.

I don't think any amount of DIY repairs apart from complete replacement for a newer model can make my old iPhone 3G last forever ;)

I have an old iPhone 3G and Opera Mini works like a blast for me. The whole OS just stumbles and lags, including Safari, but Opera is always responsive and loads my stuff very fast, even with multiple tabs. However, due to how the browser mostly pre-renders the pages on the Opera Turbo server, some sites might not

But you don't HAVE TO update to Win 8 if you don't like it. Are you going back because you don't like Windows 7 too?

It's actually the third most widely spoken, but I guess that's beside the point in this case. Gthing's explanation seems reasonable though - however, changes in more "layout" stuff are also implemented with a big delay. I've never actually seen how they put all the links/options under that one button awhile back, as

I'm curious though: why do they always roll out stuff like this to only English searches and the English interface? As a non-English user (and an Opera user to boot) I often feel months behind on the novelties.

Why don't you guys ever mention Opera anymore? Anyway, you can just make sessions of tabs (as easy as having the tabs open and choosing the save the session) and bring them back any time you like. Or, like in the rest, open a whole folder of bookmarks.

This is very bad advice. Not only will you make a mess, there's the electricity hazard and fire hazard. This was on Reddit a few weeks ago and despite the initial enthusiasm it was proven to just not work. Just get a regular oven or grill. Or get a microwave that's fitted with one, they're quite practical.

Holy hell, I can't imagine editing video on a Pentium 4. 64 gigs of RAM does sound nice though. Good luck!

Well, to be fair, Pentium 4 is 12 years old and was discontinued 4 years ago. Probably even the cheapest processor + mobo available right now would be far faster than P4 and more feature-rich (too tired to check/research though).

In other news: you can hang your headphones on anything that vaguely resembles a hook. Anything at all.

Ah, found it. It's a very bad Google Translate of the comments from this site [www.zocalo.com.mx] and Excelsior got in there because that's the nickname of the article's author.
