I just recently signed up with Netflix, and discovered the entire series there. If people are given a way to easily access shows online in a legal fashion as with torrenting, there's a chance that they'll pay a subscription.

Working in TV myself, I have never seen the production crew or post team get paid more just because the show made more money... ever.
