One thing to keep in mind is that many of these movies fall closer to the science-fantasy side of the genre and as such are not subject to hard science.

Out of the movies on the list I have seen I would disagree with Iron Man 2 being on the worst list.

@thedoommarine: That would be assuming that bacteria would be able to live inside of their bodies. Their biology could be so different that bacteria would not be able to interact with them chemically.

@revolverx: This is what I was thinking. Anything we have on Earth is much easier to get and in greater quantities out there in our own solar system let alone others where there is no pesky life to lob nukes at them.

Cube is seriously one of the best scifi films and really, it is not because it is scifi. It also is one of the best character studies. And it has that chick that played Dax on DS9 and she is fiiiiiiiine!

@mkirkland: I think we know what will happen if humans are exposed to radiation on a 3 year mission. Like I said, any ship up there should ans will be built with radiation shielding in mind weather we do these tests of not.
