The Greeks dominated Egypt for a time, so did the Romans. The Jews lived there for a long time before that. I’ve seen sarcophagi in museums where the person depicted on the cover (which is painted with a image of them) was white. Egypt’s not so cut and dry as people want to make it out to be.
