Correction: the country’s fucking citizens are insane.

Oh, goodness - farm tractors were built 50 years ago to start and run initially on gas, then switch to diesel. OLD technology.

The fix that fixes all this? Cancel the ACA, root and branch. Get rid of every vestige of it. Get the Federal government the hell out of the insurance business. Quit pumping government dollars into the system, and let people buy what they want to buy. Quit pretending that it’s possible to insure against events that

National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Not Oceans. Not Mining. Not Farming. Not Weather. Not Climate. Not anything but Aeronautics and Space.

I bought one of these a few years ago. Piece of crap. It’s amazingly noisy, even with soft foods. It has a hard time processing most foods. Just a damn disappointment. But it was cheap.

Not Hillary’s fault? Who forced her to set up a totally insecure server and host her official email on it, making all SecState email available for the world to read? Who forced her to set up a pay-for-play Clinton Foundation? Who forced her into all her 30 years of crooked dealing and lies?

Did anyone else see the report a couple of days ago, that two experienced manufacturing engineers in CA reverse-engineered the Epipen and found that it costs $8.02 to manufacture the two that go into a kit. That’s all costs included, though it may not include labor for assembly.

I don’t know about the photo - it may well be shopped. But as to the notion that a 90-pound engine is too much to lift? I’m 74 now, and I could do that. 60 years ago, I watched my father pick up the engine (cast iron) for a Model T and set it in place in the chassis. That weight is just not much at all.

But tallow is needed for good french fries.

In truth, neither one is fit for any public office. At all.

Well. If Joan Claybrook doesn’t like it, that’s good enough for me. NOT!! She was the NHTSA head who authorized government funds to build a backwards motorcycle - “for safety”.

A tablemate once mistook the little green ball for a dessert candy. Popped in into his mouth. I thought he was having a heart attack. He wished it was only that. A harsh lesson, but one that stuck.

And still - a friend stopped over today with connectivity problems after Windows upgraded him to 10. His Verizon broadband had stopped working. Sort of. I helped with getting back to IE and made Yahoo Mail work through my own wifi, but no joy with the broadband. After a trip to our local dealer, he returned to tell me

And yet, all of Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco are living in a desert, and just DEMANDING more water.

Just because things turned out differently from the predictions, doesn’t mean the predictions were wrong. The new ice age can still happen, you know. That prediction is only 45 years old, so plenty of time yet.

There are NO non-GMO food products on any grocery shelf anywhere. Holstein cows are specially-bred for milk production. Corn is specially-bred for ear size, kernel size, kernel protein and fat content. Wheat is specially bred for the same things. Winter wheat is different from spring wheat, and hard wheat is different

Roundup, of course, is not a pesticide. And if it were, why would the product of plants designed to resist it be bad for us?

So this is the thing that really is “older than dirt”?
