It’s not interesting, yet you took time out of your day to click on the story and comment on it. I don’t like reading Drew Magary’s poop stories on Deadspin. And yet when that article comes up, I don’t comment on how uninteresting it is. I just scroll past it and find something else to read.

(As a Timberwolves fan) I kinda hate reading takes from national writers and commenters about Rubio. Maybe there’s some Stockholm syndrome as part of it, but when I hear the inevitable “Yeah but he can’t shoot and he should just be a backup PG and you’ll never win with him,” all I can say is: No! You don’t get it!…

I think part of it is just perception. A passing point guard can dominate a game without you noticing. Rubio had 10 assists in the first quarter last night! But I noticed Brandon Rush hitting 3 treys instead.

I think sports fans ring hump too much. Yeah, championships are great and the reason you play and watch the game. But it can certainly be fun to watch a non-championship team.

Bingo. Used to be what made it across the pond was cherry picked to hell and back, and now you can watch the show at the exact same time as the Japanese high school kids you used to envy so much.
