+1 for the pro tip. We have SO MANY GAMES available to us anymore that energy bars are a non-issue to me. Games with energy bars fill a very specific, yet decent sized chunk of my gaming life: Times when turning on my TV/PC and starting up a game is inconvenient. 15 minutes before I turn the lights off? I’ll fire up

I know I’mgoing to get flack for this, but I feel like the graphics for this game do not hold up well at all. Great game, funny, well written, and characters with personality. Just not appealing to look at.

Nintendo’s been giving out free shit and new content for over a year for Splatoon, and when they finally stop, it’s being treated like some great betrayal...

A few balls short of a full count?

I feel like I will get way more into this than Ingress.

Dead center field... Damn is he a powerful baseball man.

Can you textify the tweet? I am unable to read the image.

Ah, DDT. Where a child, an invisible man, a ladder, a beer bottle, and of course, a blow up sex doll dressed like hulk Hogan can be champion

It did feel like a whole new game. All new mechanics across the board. It was a hell of a campaign addition.

Shadowrun Returns and Amplitude felt very clear with me about every change or delay. I felt good with those teams with my money.

Well, I should have rephrased. They probably do have control, but they might be paying more than other people to advertise in that spot. A lot of time, as we all know, money talks.

Im guessing HBO paid for ad space and they had no say, or Simmons paid for the ads himself to torment Deadspin.

You know, you don’t HAVE to buy the game each year. I buy my sports games every other, or ever 3 years, and I’m satisfied with the improvement at that rate. So if I buy 2K12, I won’t buy again til 15, and so on. Someone else could end up buying 13, and then 16. Think of it like a cell phone upgrade in the same line.

This shade will keep me cool in the coming summer months.

Sports games are great. Not to buy every year, but updating your catalog every 2-3 years so the changes feel drastic? That's fun. Plus, there's something to be said for hitting that zone in 2K or Madden when you're hitting things on rhythm.

So why are people mad at slot machines? Is it because gaming iPs are being used for non gaming things in a different country, or is this just a “fuck Konami” thing? I honestly don't get the hate for the licensed machines.

What is this feeling.... Cautious optimism bordering on regular optimism?
