Transfers hurt athletes though. They can lose eligibility for a period if they switch schools, so they can't even move to a school that offers a better scholarship, or if they get cut from one team.

An education... In hokey majors that won't help them get a job if they don't make the pros. Sure, you're doing them SUCH a favor.

Now, is this in the show because the creators wanted to do this with their original audience, or did this get put in after the series got hijacked by a completely different demographic? If it's the latter, fuck it.

So, why does this game get a pass for having an Auto Battle option, but Final Fantasy XIII got killed for it?

It's essentially a League of Legends F2P model. Cosmetics, taunts, and extra Loadouts slots (comparable to extra rune pages in LoL) are the only thing you can really buy with premium currency. Of course, like in League, you can buy XP and In-Game Currency boosts, but you can't directly buy currency that's used for

I see no problem with this. Looks like the sprites will be easier to see on a smaller screen.

The song that starts at about 22 seconds in has been ingrained into my brain from my childhood.

I think what turned me off on the game is the community. I used to play between 2011-2012, but had to stop due to just not being able to deal with the people anymore. I ended up playing a lot of support, and all I got was grief from my teammates. I'd jump in front of a skillshot, and get yelled at for dying.

I gotta side with you on Dubs. Even with a large TV, it's hard for me to read subtitles, even on a larger TV.

They could use a Save check. Each new game could have a specific code or configuration tied to your machine, so if you died, the game would recognize all your saves that share the same file code. Even if you backed it up, it could still have the same code, and recognized that you died with this save file, thus

I try to imagine all Bethesda games with better combat. It's probably the worst thing out of their games.

At a glance, reminds me of Echochrome.

It's not that I'm targeting the statement itself. I'm just sick of how PC gamers like to feel superior, and seemingly talk down to people who prefer consoles. I should've prefaced my previous comment like that. I apologize for that.

I must be a moron who can't possibly enjoy playing XCOM on his PS3 then. Seriously though, the elitism that exists in pockets of gaming is just disgusting.

What will this be able to do besides Steam? If it runs on Linux, and you're expected to control it with a controller, will it have something akin to the PS3 XMB menu, or the Xbox's Dashboard? How easy will it be to perform non-gaming functions on it with just the controller? That's one of the bigger concerns that

It's a special mode for Steam. You hook your computer up to your TV, and enter big picture mode. The goal is to make PC games easier to play from the couch.

I would feel that shovelware is doing more damage than "freemium". You don't really gain anything by paying in League of Legends apart from cosmetics or unlocking champs quicker. This isn't like DDO or DCUO where you get a core experience for free and have to pay for more inventory, character slots, or missions...

The dialogue system of Alpha Protocol was a timed event, and I loved every single conversation due to it.
