Yeah it’s weird that people like that are the decision makers at most companies. I’m a mechanical engineer but the same applies.

What I never understood is why people like that get to manage anything much less VP?!?!? In my experience they’d rather have someone blow smoke up their ass then to have someone say any of the following:

Liquefied gas terminals are sprouting up through the world. Russia WOULD be the cheapest but disrupting supplies is expensive for the customer. They’d rather pay double than not have it at all. The idea that’s hard for Putin to believe is that yeah Europe would rather pay double if they can afford it and it seems

Eh they kinda need one another as I’m sure Russia will miss Turkey’s money if they decide to cut them off. Not to mention the natural gas pipeline Russia is building through Turkey. If Russia pisses everybody in Eastern Europe off then China will be the only buyer. Of course don’t tell Putin that he does not give a

Cameron is still trying to convince the British parliament that joining the coalition is a good idea so why does the US always have to take the lead on this when the problem is much closer to Europe? I’m not talking about being isolationists but at the American people are tired of putting up money and resource for

I’m sure that guy that worked on the shifter had the same conversations I’ve had before and it goes like this:

Really engineers? I’m an engineer and I’ve never worked at a place where somebody asked us where to place UI controls. Blame the execs, designers or the janitors but I can assure you it’s never the engineer. Now if your cup holder lid cracks or turbo poops then you have my permission to blame the engineer.

Got Black Ops 3 for free with the 1TB Xbox One Holidy bundle. Weird how it was unadvertised at Gamestop. Totally worth it since it’s the same price as buying the 500GB version with the game. It was either this or buying another Xbox 360 controller since the thumb button breaks all the time.

Lawsuits take forever. They might have been doing discovery and getting documenting their case before suing.

I’m in CA now and it has the worst high merges ever. Super short (I think because of the good weather) with traffic lights at the freeway entrances to manage rush hour traffic. It’s basically a drag strip and you have to rely on people feeling generous and letting you merge. By comparison the long merges on the GSP is

It’s not like drivers are completely different in NYC, Long Island, Nanuet, etc. By the way, accelerating on the shoulder seems simple enough to me. Ever tried to merge onto Palissade Parkway? Short merge with no shoulders!

Uh, actually, there is just off the bay trail next to Stevens Creek.

Could you imagine sticking something that nearly weighs 420,000 lb. into an airplane? The crazy thing is that the Antonov can carry more. It's record is a 559,557 pound payload!

Yeah but Sutil doesn't have anything going on in F1 either. There's plenty of test drivers that disappeared and never got their chance. At least Van der Garde will go down fighting.

Less creepy please.

Remember how, at the end of the first Star Wars movie, Leia Organa is the one giving out medals? She doesn't get one herself. That odd metaphorical distance between her and the other Star Wars heroes is a crucial part of her new comic series.

Ha ha ha ha. That was my reaction when I read the article.

I agree with you completely. I'm just a little annoyed that the blogger wrote , "The DMV also told him that they know his car will be engineered to be safe, and they are cool with it."

You mentioned it's being imported as a used car which could be a Nissan. I mean, it just needs to be modified so it "does not resemble the original make of the vehicle that was dismantled." The wording is so vague that almost anyone rich enough to hire a lawyer can argue this point. The dumb example the CA DMV

"The DMV also told him that they know his car will be engineered to be safe, and they are cool with it."
