Yeah, with the torque spec comment I was more thinking about the hypothetical center lock car trying to do this. If it had to be torqued to factory spec that could make it very difficult to get off, that’s usually like 400+ ft-lbs

I wonder if there are rules about how many lug-nuts you need to have to be eligible? And if they need to be torqued fully...wonder if anyone feels like modifying a mclaren or porsche with center lock wheels to give it a try...
More realistically, something small and rwd with a 4 lug pattern (AE86?) could probably work…
Golf GTI with DSG is a good choice for sure, that’s a fun transmission. Anything with a CVT is not.
Yeah, I really liked how the wing fit the body shape of the previous one, just didn’t like all the fake vents. If they could put just the top half of the rear of the old one on this one it would be perfect
Honestly? The front end and back half of the rear one with the top half of the back of the old one. This thing looks great except for the way the roofline/wing transition looks. The old one got that way better.
This is the correct call IMO - especially if you’re looking at a modified vehicle. The value of your race car may only be say 5k, but it would cost you 20 to build another one. Therefore you fix it unless it would cost more than 20 to fix.
You absolutely have more precise control over the car in other games than this one. Art of rally was built off the absolute drift engine, the cars are intended to be sliding all the time unlike most arcade games which give you a ton of grip. It takes a lot of getting used to but I’ve grown to really enjoy it.
One tip,…
I love having the Esso Speedpass app on my phone, so that I can pay for fuel without needing to touch the keypad on the pump, put a card in, etc. It’s especially handy when I’m on my motorcycle so that I don’t have to dig my wallet out. If they can slickly integrate something like that into carplay so I can just hit a…
Not really conservative summing. The total output is exactly the added output of everything except the 122hp from the MGU-H, because that motor is only connected to the turbo and doesn’t directly contribute to the power going to the wheels.
1185-122=1063
So they will presumably spend a lot of time charging it with gas/diesel generators?
Figures, the powertrain could only be heavier with the added turbos and they won’t have spent a ton of R&D dollars on lightening the platform to keep the price down.
Have they confirmed that the manual will be available with the V6 though?
I’ve won regional rally-x, ice racing, and TSD events. Always felt I could probably do well at a larger scale rally event if I had the money and/or sponsorship to build a car and pay a team to do it.
I have to assume, being a Bugatti, that getting to that one screw to tighten it requires disassembling approximately 60% of the vehicle.
The 88 fiero is a great car which is scarce, I agree (and I have an 88 notchie in the garage), but I don’t know that it is *better* because of scarcity. If GM instead kept the development going with the planned 200+hp engines, it could have been an even better car.
How did nobody say Tenere 700? Seems like a perfect fit, and you can get a brand new bike for your 10k instead of a used one.
Clio-based Colt Ralliart turbo awd GR Corolla competitor when?
You missed an important spec. Curb weight 3249lbs.
On the circuit edition cars, it’s signed Morizo (Akio Toyoda’s racing alias)
Yeah, true for drag racing for sure. For rally-x, circuit driving, or anything like that it’s not an issue. The STI launches just fine on a loose surface (and with an accessport the launch control makes it pretty foolproof)
