I dunno, driving around in a circle dragging the inside rear tire isn’t gonna get much appreciation at a donut competition, you want to slide the rear out for that. This is sort of an understeer donut instead of the usual oversteer donut I guess.

The Bronco can be had from the factory with an e-locker and the trail turn assist, no issues there. You’re right that a mechanical LSD wouldn’t appreciate it though.

I really hope they pull off some feat of magic and it comes in close to the GR Yaris curb weight. If it looks good, has all the GR Yaris running gear, and keeps the weight under 2900 my STI hatch could be getting traded in a year or two from now.

The Toyota Corolla is not even remotely a hot hatch. At over 3000lbs and 169hp, it’s lukewarm at best.

I wonder how much of a pain it will be to try to recalibrate these if you change your rear springs out for aftermarket ones

Any idea if they are still using the same Flatout GR40 coilovers? I know they ran them in the NORRA 1000 but most of the articles don’t seem to mention the brand beyond “rally style coilover suspension”.
