I dunno, driving around in a circle dragging the inside rear tire isn’t gonna get much appreciation at a donut competition, you want to slide the rear out for that. This is sort of an understeer donut instead of the usual oversteer donut I guess.

The Bronco can be had from the factory with an e-locker and the trail turn assist, no issues there. You’re right that a mechanical LSD wouldn’t appreciate it though.
That’s actually pretty cool. I wonder how much power it would be able to generate from the fluorescent lights in a parking garage though
But does this mean we’ll get actual proper video coverage of the events? Even the dakar gets such sparse coverage, just a 5 minute video from each day, let alone the ‘lesser’ events.
I really hope they pull off some feat of magic and it comes in close to the GR Yaris curb weight. If it looks good, has all the GR Yaris running gear, and keeps the weight under 2900 my STI hatch could be getting traded in a year or two from now.
It’s...kinda dull.
So, the 760hp Ford crate motor is $5k more than the 807hp Mopar Hellcrate Redeye at $21,807? Interesting.
Wait, 3100 lbs? What happened? I thought they were in the 2500 range.
Ugh. Awful.
Very cool! Hopefully they don’t have any problems. I’m always a little concerned when GM starts pushing the envelope too hard, and they already had wheel durability issues not long ago
The Toyota Corolla is not even remotely a hot hatch. At over 3000lbs and 169hp, it’s lukewarm at best.
I wonder how much of a pain it will be to try to recalibrate these if you change your rear springs out for aftermarket ones
Any idea if they are still using the same Flatout GR40 coilovers? I know they ran them in the NORRA 1000 but most of the articles don’t seem to mention the brand beyond “rally style coilover suspension”.
Goldeneye if you played the ‘right’ way (left thumb on d-pad for movement, right thumb on analog stick for aiming)
Alternate title: The 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro has one of the highest payload ratings of any off-road focused pickup truck.
Ok, I missed out on the dieselgate buybacks because I wasn’t able to stockpile old volkswagens at the time. This time I probably have space to pick up a couple of Bolts...what do we think the chances are of this becoming full on mandatory buyback?
I don’t hate the cladding. It’s not pretty but it is visual shorthand for offroadyness and I think it’s ok here.
I’ve seen more than one driving around Vancouver, BC. They are a vancouver based company so I can’t say if they have managed to actually have distribution beyond this city, but they’re at least in the hands of a few people here
