Allll about the weight, friend. Power to weight is key and this thing would walk all over the Camry.

I want this car so badly. More than probably any <$100k car that has been released in the last 10 years. If they were sold here I legitimately would have bought one already.

The ability to plug it in so that it starts with a full battery after every service section seems useful, no reason not to be able to do that.

Newest cars I’ve worked on are an ‘09 Corvette and an ‘11 STI. The Corvette is much ‘newer’ in terms of tech level. Doing some of the tweaks I wanted did involve getting the right tool to hook my laptop up to it and talk to the various computer modules (Tech 2 tool adapter), but once I had that, it was relatively

Ok, the wing is cool, but...why are the brake calipers different colors?

I do not have dedicated winter tires for my winter car (2009 Subaru STI). However it is on all terrain tires with the mountain/snowflake winter rating which is plenty good enough for me in Canadian winters apart from sometimes running studded tires for ice racing. Were the winter rated A/T tires not an option I would

The thing is, big pickups and SUVs often have really accommodating driving positions for smaller people because they are meant to give that feeling of sitting up high above everyone.

I trust that if the blind spot system says there IS something there, there is probably something there. Saves me checking. However, I don’t trust that if the blind spot system DOESN’T say there is something there that I should just change lanes without manually verifying. It’s a useful informative device, not

This honestly seems like a really, really good idea by GM

I’d love if Alpine made an EV sports car (and then bring it to North America). As far as I can tell they have probably the best chance of anyone of making a proper little 2 seater EV sports car, except maybe if Porsche decides to make an electric Cayman. Give a few hundred extra pounds for batteries, and an electric

Minecraft has just as much to do with Nintendo as Metal Gear, Persona, Bayonetta, and arguably Dragon Quest and Mega Man do - they have all been released on Nintendo consoles, but were not developed by Nintendo.

MSR has always had some of the absolute coolest liveries in the field and it doesn’t look like their stopping. Sorry to see the NSX go but it’ll be interesting to see what they can do with the prototype.

The ZZW30 gen MR2 is I think quite comfortably the closest you can get to driving a Lotus Elise for much less money. As a bonus, the same 2ZZ engine that is used in the Elise will basically swap right in in place of the 1ZZ, which makes it decently quick too

Not bad at all. I like the interior a lot. The overall proportions, especially from side view are too close to the 350/370 and not enough like the 240 Zs for my tastes, it needs to be a little longer in the hood or something. Not bad though.

See that doesn’t sound like a bad thing at all to me. Let the teams have the option of running slower but with better fuel economy and try to get the win over the 24 hours, that sounds awesome. I’ve seen similar stuff play out in the IMSA endurance races with some teams running flat out with more stops and some

Sorry, poor wording on my part. Yes you are absolutely correct that IMSA restrict fuel flow etc by setting a minimum refuelling time across the class of cars. However for IMSA that is a time from empty to full tank, essentially setting the team’s fuel flow regulator. It’s not something that the team has to think about

The refueling regs at Le Mans are one that I really have no idea why they exist. What problem is it trying to solve? The Daytona 24 hours runs with the same cars barring LMP1 with no refueling regs just fine, and it allows teams to include fuel amount in their strategies. Taking that out just makes the racing less

I have no issue if they use the old platform. There wasn’t anything really wrong with it as far as I know, so if they can update and re-use it to keep the cost down, then add a much stronger engine and updated styling and interior...seems good to me.

I think you missed my point. Chloe did very well, I’m sure she is very talented and in the same car very few if any of us would beat her. I wish her all the best.

Fair point, but in this case given the last record was set in a Camaro RS in 2018...I doubt they had to do much to be able to beat it with a 718 Spyder, especially given they only cut half a second off.
