We’ll all be driving jet/rocket engine powered cars with solid steel wheels any day now, you mark my words. Aaaaany day now.

Their tip would be to not use them! For top speed runs bloodhound uses solid steel wheels with no tires.

Bugatti never relied on quarter mile times to sell Veyrons, they and many hypercars play in the realm of top speed, where electric cars still reeeally struggle.

Have child safety standards changed so drastically in 7 years? It was able to score 4 stars in 2011. That’s an honest question, I don’t know about child safety stuff as I don’t have a child nor do I intend to.

So, it’s still basically as safe in a crash as it was before. But now there’s a whole category for electronic bleepy things that it doesn’t have, which somehow drags it all the way from 4/5 to 0/5...

You’re correct! I had to go look it up. I thought the interesting part about the C6 Z06 was the balsa wood but the change for additional lightness was actually that the balsa was sandwiched in Carbon Fiber instead of Fiberglass as in the C5 and other C6es.

Well, there’s already been a Corvette balsa wood series...(the floor of the C6 Z06 had a balsa wood core sandwiched in carbon fiber)

Well, they already did the Vaughn Gittin Jr inspired RTR mustangs, so it’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

I really, really want Zero to make a faired sportbike.

Alfa 4C? There’s one that does track days with the local club I frequent and it’s quite quick.

Definitely more than that at the moment. Higher mileage 2006 models are getting down to the low 30k range. Cheapest I’ve seen listed on a  non salvage title recently was 34k. Nicer but still early model ones are more like 40-50k.

I’m currently hoping that (like the GT-R), there will be a golden period of 10 years in Canada where we can import them from overseas for relatively cheap but the US can’t. GT-R prices skyrocketed once they hit 25 years and you were able to import them down there.

Wait, how are they only getting 500hp out of a big turbo on an LS block?

A 2GR will absolutely fit and has been done several times

You also can’t ride an H2R home. It’s track only. ;)

Just gotta have an LS7, then!

You are correct. The old Chevy SBC is not the best answer.

It sounds great.

I still play it once a week or so.

Agreed. I just wish there were MORE of it. Or games similar. Hollow knight is good but the dark fantasy aesthetic of Salt and Sanctuary is waaay more appealing to me where Hollow Knight’s bugs don’t really draw me in.
