Cadillac only you say...so the mid-engined ‘Corvette’ is going to be a Cadillac, confirmed?

And, yes, I do mean the boat engine company

The SVT Lightning was pretty compromised at actually doing truck things due to the lowered, sport tuned suspension. An Ecoboost explorer can tow the same amount and probably haul more stuff so long as you don’t need an open cargo area.

Wait, hang on, don’t Jalops love the SVT Lightning? Isn’t this a very similar thing?

If you drive it while wearing a motorcycle approved helmet and gear, sure, maybe. Apart from the fact that you get squashed by the car rather than being thrown clear in a crash.

Have any tidbits that you can safely share?

That’s definitely a valid complaint, no argument on that. I’ve never purchased a new vehicle but I’ve paid tax on all of my cars and motorcycles. I certainly would like to not pay that.

Yeah, their policies on modified vehicles are...nonexistent, for better or worse. But, as you say, they have options. They’re far from perfect but they’re also far from the worst case.

Everybody loves the translink tax!

I get your point. Perhaps it would be better if ICBC was only required to offer 3rd party liability on everyone?

Sometimes I feel like I’m in the minority of people in BC who actually *like* ICBC. Why do I like them? They have to insure everybody. They had to insure me on a motorcycle when I was 19, and they had to insure my JDM right hand drive car. I know people in Alberta and Ontario who had a hell of a time finding someone

I am fully in agreement with you if we are talking about Witcher 1. The first game gave you ‘cards’ of the ladies in sexy poses that you collect by sleeping with them (or convincing them to sleep with you)...that was pretty bad. Random village ladies who you can get to sleep with you just by giving them the right

Oh, it is. In Vancouver we just hit $1.50/L for regular recently, after being about 1.45 for quite a while.

There’s good reason why we’re so impatient about the release of a new Toyota Supra: the original was really, truly legendary.

I was reminded of a couple corvette specific ones by a couple of these:

I’m reasonably confident that this only applies to vehicles where it’s possible to lock up the brakes (with a locked wheel being better for stopping in snow than ABS, and 4 locked wheels being better than 2). I know that most older 4WD vehicles disable the ABS when in 4WD mode, so that could be what’s causing this.

Oh, yes, perfect. Let’s have a new ‘Gentleman’s Agreement’ where all cars are rated at no more than 300 horsepower just like all the 90s japanese machines making ‘276'.

For the 4WD car pictured above it’s apparently using the production “windshield, door handles, taillights, and Mini badges” according to car and driver’s article a little while ago. Top Gear also mentioned the throttle pedal was the same.

It’s a custom tube frame chassis with little in common with an actual mini. The bodywork looks somewhat similar but it’s carbon fiber and larger in every dimension.

Partly true. X-Raid Minis have been ridiculously successful. They aren’t the ones like the one Menzies will be driving, it’s an entirely new for 2018, 2WD buggy style ‘mini’ instead of their normal 4WD cars.
