It's all Quebec's fault. (No, seriously, it is) They have super strict rules about competitions like this (which is why you often see 'Quebec residents not eligible' on stuff) , and it's far easier for Polyphony/Nissan/Sony to just not offer it in Canada at all than to try and meet their regulations. I don't know why

I love the idea of this. I hate (HAAAAAATE) that Canadians aren't eligible to compete.

The Camaro was a totally made up name. When asked, Chevy reps said it was "a small, viscious animal that eats mustangs".

I'm sorry, no. The impreza is not a wagon, it is a hatchback. The Outback is Subaru's wagon. I'm iffy on the Soul and XB, but I'll give those to you.

Very nice, but as a keyboard player, I was hoping for much more keytar action and was disappointed.

Hmm...if to get all the offroading equipment it puts you up to 38k...that's Wrangler Rubicon territory, which is a far (FAAAAARR) more capable vehicle. I'm not sold.

I'm curious how long a drag race it was. The Porsche has a clear advantage in a short race with the crazy 4wd launch, and because they are fairly close I'm sure it can maintain that over a quarter, or even half mile. But I would bet in a standing mile the McLaren would get its own back.

This is silly. It's more like: "Which is faster? A racing driver or some bloke who reviews cars?"

Does it have the GMC Syclone / Typhoon? If not, it does not have every car I want.

Pff. You people and your luxurious air conditioning. It's just added weight. Any true car enthusiast would remove it for a purer driving experience :P

Perhaps their new models are not budget enthusiast oriented, but I don't think it could be easier to get performance parts (especially engines, which, lets face it, is what most enthusiasts are looking for from the General). When I did my V8 swap, I literally walked into the local Chevy dealer's parts department, said

May I present the Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution:

I see what you did there

I've seen a fair few hercs land at the local RCAF base, but it never ceases to amaze me just how little runway they actually need.

Ah. Well. Carry on, then.

109hp from a litrebike engine is really nothing special. The 1000cc inline 4s in top end sport bikes from most manufacturers put out more like 180.

I dunno about *everything* (I like the way the clean race bonus is done and the repairs are automatically deducted, because who doesn't repair their car fully every time anyway), but yeah, I could do with the challenging AI coming back, and the amount of time you spend waiting for your high end cars is a bit silly.

While I currently would say mustang, I have high hopes for a lighter, alpha platform Camaro. I'm a Chevy guy, so I want them to change my mind. If only the current Camaro wasn't so much worse than the mustang...

One of these came out to the local autocross once. That was a funny sight to see the big ol' wagon roaring around the same tight little track that is so usually dominated by miatas. Good times.
