It’s right there in your observation.  EA thought the whole thing was going to be a big deal and then all of a sudden it wasn’t.

They won’t as long as the government is controlled by corporate interests.

These kind of practices should be illegal.

If EA is anything like they were in 2009, they probably hung up that call - and then immediately celebrated their most profitable year to date.

I know Keanu Reeves doesn’t need my support but I just hope that dude is living his best life. Stuff like this only reinforces my opinion.

Oh I thought maybe this was a joke about his right wing podcast host character in Glass Onion.

I like John Cena a lot, but I have to agree with Rian Johnson, I do think Bautista has become the best wrestler turned actor. I absolutely never would have guessed that since he was such an uncharismatic block of wood when he was in the WWE. He’s got legit acting chops, though.

He's the last actor I could ever imagine doing that

Simple Solution: Cast Gwendolyn Christie as the other lead.

Princess Diana is the ultimate pretty white lady who is untouchable because she’s dead, but that still doesn’t change the fact that...

There are many automated tools that run obsolete operating systems. And they will keep running just fine, if they are isolated from the internet.

The thing you’re used to is always easier than learning something new. Do they make TurboTax for Ubuntu? Presumably they probably do make Microsoft Office but that would also be a consideration

I suspect very few boomers out there are willing or able to run ubuntu on their home computer.

In fairness to the author, it was the first line in the 3rd paragraph

I would beg to differ on one perspective... older generations click on any and everything because they don’t know any better. So they have ad blockers. But they also have the coupon bar. And the search bar from Yahoo!... and Bing. They have it all! And by all, I mean virus, malware and the like.

In the age when you can buy a brand new laptop for barely over $100, there is little excuse to be using expired versions of Windows in the first place.

People who aren’t online all the time are the people who need ad blockers the MOST. You and I both know about fake download buttons, blogspam referral links, etc. Our parents don’t.

No one should be running Chrome on Windows 7 in 2023.

Yes - because all parents are busy fiddling with VCRs and trying to figure out what a mouse is.

To be fair, Chrome is about to be a problem on everyone’s PC since it’s doing everything it can to get rid of adblockers.
