South Park objectively sucks and that’s a fact.

5th grader me had to put in the flying cars cheat code to beat any race lol. All the cars would start flying and I would slowly inch to the finish line making sure I don’t take off. That was the only way I could beat any race missions.
Good thing that doesn’t require you to progress in the story. I’ve never been a 100% guy so I just ignored that mission.
We have went through more than any trans or gay person has ever had, and we still do to this day
I’ve been to Apple hiring events and the holier-than-thou attitude spooked me out. I remember the engineer talking about the Apple Photos app like it was the biggest innovation since the dawn of time. And this was in like 2017 when it couldn’t hold a candle to Google Photos.
In the tech world, Apple and Tesla both are known as companies that people only join if they buy into the cult. Other companies usually pay more, have better hours and have better perks.
I asked “what needs to be done?”. Maybe the answer is to regulate these tech companies then. Establish some sort of framework where they need to have a minimum amount of resources dedicated to cybersecurity for the scale of operations they want to run. At least for federal contractors if not other companies. But to do…
Totally fair.
Fair I guess. I tend to give a chance to all the defaults and only switch if something I sorely need isn’t present whenever I buy a new device. OneUI kinda won me over so I never tried other launchers and things.
I barely noticed the gap when COVID happened. So a few days of strike isn’t gonna affect consumers that much. Hopefully they can hold their ground and get better working environment for themselves in spite of this.
I loved the S9 before I switched to my current phone. What did you not like about the S9+?
Why is “none” of that possible? What needs to be done to change that? Surely the only options isn’t to just resign ourselves to our Chinese and Russian overlords?
I get your point but WASPs and blue collar everymen aren’t exactly mutually exclusive.
I just ran into a video of an unhinged antivaxx woman in our internal forums. And lots of people were showing support. She was framing the mandate and its support from our leadership as lack of empathy. And there were a decent number of people supporting her in the comments. And this is in a west coast liberal state.…
I would love to think so but I’m too scared. I thought the newer generation would be fine but I’m too scared to ask the age of this person because there’s a good chance he’s not a 60+ year old man and this country is indeed on its way to being a hellhole.
Be that as it may, the concerns he raises are very valid. If Americans don’t invest in their cybersecurity chops soon, expect to see a Solarwind level hack every other week.
I agree that this dude does seem like a douche bro. But in spite of that, I’d be willing to bet he was still more qualified than most of DoD (and all of DoD leadership). And I wouldn’t be that quick to completely dismiss Silicon Valley. They’ve been quick to grab all the bright minds from Stanford and MIT and the like…
How is he an idiot alarmist? Did the whole Solarwinds fiasco teach Americans nothing?
Does it matter if what he’s saying is true? Forget about China for a sec and look at what Russia was able to do with Solarwinds. We are ignoring this threat at our own peril.
And who do you propose will develop America’s tech prowess if not for people well-versed in tech? Russia knocked the fuck out of US with Solarwinds already. We don’t need more Luddites to enable China to do the same.
