agree with you, It's pretty average, but the atmosphere (and sound design) sorta saves it from being a total wash.

I worked at a Microplay in Scarborough (east Toronto) in the late 90s. We were a rental/retail store so we'd have regulars who came in all the time in the neighbourhood. (and we'd have kids that lived nearby that would come in, drop a buck and we'd let them play something on the TV for a bit)
