My car has only one of the things on this list, and it just happens to be the opening quarter lights, best thing ever.

I just watched this whole film, now I really wish my stupid Rover wasn't in the stupid garage being stupidly broken so I could go and tear it up around the New Forest and pretend I'm one of these geezers. Stupid cursed automobile!

There already is a high performance Range Rover that is probably a damn sight faster and wilder than this one, and it looks more like this:

What I don't understand is how nobody has called up the rear passenger on the real crime being committed that he filmed the whole escapade in portrait mode.

Veyron looks like it has a parking ticket. Hah!

I guess so, but still.. there's finicky and then there's 'the wheels aren't always turning around all of the time' finicky..

Is there any particular reason why the front wheels seem to be locking up at around 0:42 in the video?

This is really cool! Back then, British coppers would have been pursuing in the standard versions of these cars, must have been galling to watch the perps hurtle away.

The image in my head of the Volvo and Apple tech guys setting up this video and discussing what track to play in their fancy new ICE system and picking this has made my day.

That's one excellent looking vehicle, for sure the NZ assembled cars were a damn sight better off than the Solihull cars, and I've never seen a bodykit like that on an SD1, most unusual.

I have a '73 3500S, because V8 of course. Magnificent in Tobacco Leaf brown :D But it gets driven almost daily and rarely fails on me, except for the fuel filter that killed me in the supermarket carpark for 5 hours a couple weeks ago...and the brakes that were broken for about 4 months... and the rust holes.. and so

Love that bit towards the end where he swings it round the hairpin and lights up the back wheels, good old Rover V8 :D

The Mercedes Rover SD1?

That is a very interesting looking Rover P5, especially the bullbar.. I rather love it

The only difference between this 911 that looks the same as every 911 produced since 19—whatever is that this one no doubt has shoddy homemade engineering.. Crack-Pfeife!

+1 I too am on tenterhooks for this game, the tech demos etc they have released recently look very promising. I think last week they released an actual playable demo for pre-order customers which looks incredible. Can't beat smashing old V8 muscle cars together on a dirt track!

This video has made my day infinitely better, thankyou!

On reflection, maybe the game wasn't so bad (I did used to play it quite a lot) but that I was just bad, I think this is a fair assumption.

Making races longer in games is always gonna be a bad idea, a friend and I once attempted the Baja 1000 in Baja: Edge of Control, ended up taking about 2 or 3 hours for the whole race, not quite realistic length, and it had stage breaks every half hour or so, but by the end we both hated it.. although that could have

Same here, I would say that Porsche Unleashed and Underground were two of the games that got me into games (read, wasting time) and into cars in general. I just yesterday finished my umpteenth play through of Underground (probably why it came to mind) and it still stands up against modern games, especially since they
