@xdeathknightx: Of course, I wasn't looking for a "more punk than you" debate, those cheapen what punk rock is all about. I was only stating my opinion on the band and I respect that you think otherwise. Also, judging by you mentioning BR and Social D, then I'm guessing you and I have very similar musical tastes, so a

@xdeathknightx: Just because Billie Joe (and by extention Green Day) do not currently epitomize punk rock, does not mean the history of the band should be overlooked.

@MrGOH: Okay, cause I'm getting conflicting statements from people who have read the books; some say intertextuality bad, some say good. I won't make up my mind before I see the movie tho, I owe it that much.

I fear unnecessary intertextuality, like Family Guy. "OH, I get that obscure pop-culture/historic/video game reference! The people who made this are just like me! I have to like this then." Even when the reference has nothing to do with the plot.

@Archaotic: Why do I feel like that's said with venom?

Shiny.

@Taggart6: Go where? Insomniac is still making games for Sony, they won't be making any fewer games for Sony.

@Borgasm: This was directly stated below, I'll copy it here, in cast you missed it.

Jason O'Mara, not John Mara. It's like you mixed him with John Simm. Don't do that.

@Erinaceus: Yeah, totally shopped, but a very good one. Look under her eyes, got those old man "bag eyes" with a little airbrush to try and hide them

Torchwood refuses to go metric, and so do I.

That's an okay Benny Hill/Doctor Who mash up. But the best version is: [www.youtube.com]

Reading over the list, I see the Halo menu and I wonder if the party was at the Edison in Downtown LA. Because the "Plasma Grenade" is served there as an "English Afterthought", which is an amazing drink.

I'd also suggest Time of the Wolf (or Le Temps du Loup in French) directed by Michael Haneke. It's post-apocalyptic, but doesn't try to give some grandiose explanation of war or disaster. It just focuses on a family of survivors and the trouble they come up against when they get to their country home.

@TRT-X: It looked like Kudo was in sync with the game just fine, she might have been just on the edge of being picked up by the Kinect causing those glitchy problems. For a non-Microsoft controlled presentation, it was fine, if not horribly scripted and forced.

@syafiqjabar of Mars: I went down the list expecting Unseen University, but no. I'm disappointed, UU fits in this list much, much more than the high school from the Jetsons. Do we ever even see the inside of that school?

Glad Alucard is looking his SotN self for this game instead of the "government agent" look he had for some later games.

That "beat" comes out of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, the Holland tunnel just sounds like a serene hum.
