I think it is a cultural thing. I read Down Goes Brown a lot. And their comment section is full of Canadians who don't get a joke. And then want an explanation for it. And then blame the author.

Pretty dull game to watch. I was surprised to see the the offensive outburst. Both teams were stuck in neutral for the longest time.

This reminds me of the time the Eagles fans threw snowballs at Donovan McNabb because he was dressed up as Santa, and had given batteries to the fans to throw at Michael Irving. And the one time I spent 5 minutes in the airport in Philadelphia and the bathroom was closed.
