I’m surprised it took the remenants of Gawker a week to pick up on this. Especially the auto blog section in which most of the writers probably watched it the night it aired and failed to write any articles the following morning.

How did this get cross posted to Gizmodo? I feel like they had to do the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon to justify it.
Exactly. Source (PC) -> DAC -> $150 Amp -> $2000 LCD-3.
$4500 worth of headphones being powered by a $150 amp.
You’re so out of touch that you still don’t get it. Trump’s election isn’t about racism or xenophobia just like Brexit wasn’t. It was a vote against career politicians (12 term Repub lost to a college instructor), against government corruption, and against globalization.
You mean like a second bomb?
We don’t need their oil and we don’t want their oil. Leave the Middle East.
I’d hold back your excitement until Tesla proves it can actually build cars at a scale other than the one luxury cars are produced at. Get car production down and then build off of that. Tesla’s debt to equity ratio sucks and if it can’t increase production of vehicles while maintaining high quality then it will go…
Polished aluminum with rivets. Painted on black and yellow checkers on the front, maybe a tiger mouth. Custom tailgate that wraps around to about where the old Ford Raptors vinyl went, like the old fighters had. Plus a V8 with aftermarket camshaft.
SVT is dead and has been replaced with Ford Performance.
You hit the nail on the head with Rory Reid. The Tesla X review sounded more like a sales pitch than a review. As did his Focus RS review.
401k has never been an issue for me, I started out with the 6% that my employer matched but have grown that number to 15% over the last few years and I’ve never noticed the difference.
Wrong. Norway and Switzerland aren’t in the EU and they are fine. They’ll be able to join the EFTA and the UK happens to be a founding member. They’ll be able to re-join it and get favorable deals with members like Norway and they’ll be able to use the deals the EFTA already has in place with the EU. You don’t have to…
Need? Are superchargers and more horsepower ever about need?
Plenty long, it’s a pretty common setup. Since it does see time off road I’ll also be upgrading to billet oil pump gears and give the fuel pump an upgrade just in case.
Considering Porsche got 580 hp out of their TT 3.8L V6 that sounds about right. There is only so much power you can squeeze out of an engine that size. 600 hp is the ceiling which isn’t bad but it still won’t top a stock 6.2 with a few bolt ons.
Oh please. That 3.5 block in the GT puts out just over 600 hp at the crank. Livernois made a fully built 3.5, with methanol injection and maxed out in that same 600 hp range. So that gives you an idea of the top end for the 3.5. One engine is in a six figure super car and the other was fully built, if you think…
700 hp at the crank and 550 rwhp... You can’t get the EB Raptor near that level.
I won’t miss them because I have one and come Nov-Dec it will be getting a supercharger along with long tube headers.
Someone bought and revived that truck. They said it wasn’t cheap but it’s a piece of history.
