The fear is that a corporation gains enough power and influence over the government to the point that there is no difference between the two. At that point they remove the ability for you to not do business with them, and can prevent competition from ever forming.

The government, per its mission statement and bylaws, is accountable to the populace. A corporation, per its mission statement and bylaws, is accountable to nobody but its stockholders.

I’ve had a special love for Jupiter and its system of moons ever since I did a science project on it in the 5th grade. Seeing these images start to pour in from Juno has been pretty exciting. I’m a kid again!
