Earlier this year there was a ‘prestige’ South Korean drama that was partially set in Cuba. It was beautifully filmed, definitely meant to promote tourism on the Island. Later a South Korean reality series popped up, two popular K-drama stars making a tour of the island. Apparently the rest of the world doesn’t see

Delta’s afraid because unions will ruin everything. They always do. Unions are destructive.

I got “written up” for moving a part from one bench to another because I was interfering with union work which involved moving that part... What a

I get it. All the gains by unions over the years. Protect the worker. Labour laws and all that.

“Imperialism and racism” is a too pat and convenient answer for such a complex and controversial decision.

Actually, Uber’s logic isn’t that twisted. If Uber drivers are not employees but independent contractors or freelancers (I understand the legal situation here is murky), then they are indeed customers of Uber’s services.
