I think it’s completely different. Sure, it’s a cinematic, but it’s a cinematic created with the game engine, not using CGI rendering software. Yes, actual gameplay may not look this good (although it could on PC), but it’s not CGI.

CGI is a lot different that in-engine game cinematics. This doesn’t look nearly as good as something made by Blur, for instance. Yes, it’s not actual gameplay, but it’s also not CGI.

All CGI, of course, because who needs to see actual gameplay?
