That’s exactly what the law states. Your point confuses me.

I’m down for more US races and racing at new tracks, but I don’t think they need to add more races to the total. Get rid of some of the lamer European circuits and replace them with more cool international circuits. Russia should be gone forever, and they should add more actual racetracks instead of street circuits. I…
Must have been a different article. The author was very concerned that the law was created to target black people because they assumed (based off of the rims and vehicles used, maybe? I don’t know why) that this trend was being perpetrated by them. In the comments people pointed out it was mostly white teenage…
Stop, my eyes can only roll so far!
I get what you’re saying, but this is a comment thread on the internet. We’re not going to bring change to federally-mandated lighting standards here.
That’s where I am at this point as well, but mostly because I only played hard for a weekend and have gone back to playing Horizon Forbidden West until PD figure things out. Hopefully they straighten things out before I get into the endgame.
From what I’ve seen, yes, it’s mostly redneck kids. Apparently having both axles lifted wasn’t cool enough?
So, a couple points. First, the progression through the early menu books, licenses, and missions is fine and balanced. You won’t have any money issues unless you go crazy buying cars or tuning. The complaints are more about the “endgame”, or lack thereof, when suddenly you’re not getting free cars anymore and prices…
I walked by a stock Z71 GMC 2500 yesterday and the hood literally came up to my shoulder. I’m 6'2".
To clarify, which culture do you think is being excluded here?
I see what you’re saying, but we already do have laws regulating car modifications that affect safety, specifically headlights. You can’t go and put limo tint on your headlights or tails without getting pulled over if you get caught out after dark. Also, blind the wrong cop and you’ll get a fix-it ticket. This is a…
Ah, so now that the site has realized this is mostly redneck white kids doing this it’s OK to ban it because it’s stupid and unsafe. Glad to see we cleared that up, as the last article I read here about it was worried about it targeting black people. I can sleep soundly tonight.
This is the correct answer. Cash grab, and idiots will fall for it and throw cash his way.
Man, I was reading your whole comment wondering what your point was going to be. It seems there’s a bit of frustration there, but I agree with you. She knowingly put herself into the situation and is now trying to play the sympathy card to get strangers to pay her bills. Shady people wanting free money I get, but I…
If it failed due to a recall, why did he pay $5k for the service? None of it adds up, dude is just out to make a quick buck off of sympathy and his 5 minutes of fame.
Exactly. Hazard lights are to indicate to other drivers that you are a potential hazard, i.e. driving significantly slower than prevailing traffic. In that case absolutely turn on your hazards.
I have been there, multiple times. I slow down same as everyone else, to the point where I’ll be able to stop within my visible distance. If I’ve had to slow down to a speed significantly lower than surrounding traffic for some reason, I’ll turn my hazards on, because that’s exactly what they’re intended for:…
Thanks for the link proving that what he’s doing is illegal where he and I both live.
Interesting. In that case, is liability even legal there? You would think if there’s no requirement for irresponsible drivers’ insurance companies to pay, they would require everyone to cover their own vehicles, no? Otherwise, what’s the point of insurance at all?
Then maybe he should have put that in his argument. Maybe they left it out of the article, but I didn’t see any legitimate reasoning as to why it wasn’t being covered by insurance.
