If the Raptor had driven normally and let the Accord driver pass, then none of this would have happened, would it?  It takes two to tango, and the Raptor driver was being a dick in response to the Accord being a dick.  The Accord took it up a level and the Raptor responded in kind.  They’re both at fault.

Nothing official yet, but rumors are Sony is planning to launch a Game Pass competitor.  Either a new program entirely or a complete relaunch of Now.  That said, I wouldn’t expect it to show up on Now anytime soon, but if the rumors are true it might once they revamp it.

Curious why you’d be interested in GT if you’re on PC with a sim rig?  There are tons of other options out there on PC already.

This is definitely going to happen.  Follow them into a corner at a ridiculously low speed, then they suddenly hit the brakes at the apex and make you rear-end them.  I guess when they say “the real driving simulator” they mean the AI behaves like actual drivers in your daily commute.

So two things.  First, leave your console in rest mode and you won’t have to worry about updating during your play time.  Second, with this being a return to the traditional GT format you should be able to jump in and do a couple single-player campaign races and jump back off.  Obviously if you want to do the daily…

I just built my own out of 2x4 and plywood with an old Trans Am seat I bought off of Ebay.  Total setup cost me under $100 and after painting it all black it actually looks pretty good.  Been using it since 2009 with Logitech wheels, but I’m looking to upgrade to the Fanatec this year so it may need a slight redesign…

There’s always Arcade mode (assuming they have it), but it’s usually only a selection of cars rather than all of them.  Either way, the cars you listed should be pretty cheap, so you could probably buy them all after a couple hours of playing.

Saw this a couple days ago on GTPlanet, it hit me right in the feels.  I almost didn’t click because I had low expectations, but it turned out way better than I imagined.  Massive props to this guy, it’s a fun video.

Agreed.  That’s one of a few turns in the game that I rarely feel like I got 100% right.  I do the same as you with letting off early and trying to slingshot out onto the straight, but it always feels like I left something on the table.

They have a ton of different configurations of Willow, too. Horse thief mile, and a short track that’s a barrel of laughs in karts due to being able to jump from one side to the other.

No offense, but I’m always surprised when I hear people say they need to upgrade their TV to play newer games.  Just curious what your current TV is that it would need an upgrade?  As long as it’s 1080p and can accept HDMI it will work fine, although obviously it won’t look as amazing as it could.

Uh, I just said I want to grind, though.  Eventually you get more money than you know what to do with, but I enjoy following the campaign and trying to decide if I spend my cash on a big turbo or just buy a better car.

G29 will work fine.  I’m looking to upgrade to a CSL DD Pro, but it will depend on how much I get from Uncle Sam this year.

Well it hasn’t dropped yet, but it looks like it’s mostly a return to form for the series, which is great. If it reminds me of GT4 (which so far it does) I’m all in.
