Gotta disagree with you on this one David, which is rare. Looking at the more extreme examples of this, there’s no way that driver can see anything in front of them, and if they were to rear-end said car (or kid or even adult) that they can’t see they would end up directly on top of them. Not only is this a visibility

Ah, I’ve never seen temporary traffic lights before.  You’d think they’d be too low for anyone to see anyway if they’re set on the ground.

Is this a setup? Why would someone have 3 traffic lights mounted on stands on the back of a flatbed? Every time I’ve seen traffic lights being transported they’re typically haphazardly thrown in the bed of a utility company truck.

Well this is somewhat depressing. GT7 on both I can kind of see, as they can just switch off raytracing and lower the resolution to get it running. That said, I would hope they will be upping their simulation and damage games beyond the point the base PS4 could handle processing-wise, which would be harder to tone

I was more making a comment about the article which essentially blamed this guy’s bad day on Jeff Bezos.  Everybody has bad days at work, they act like this is some new thing invented by a greedy billionaire.

Oh, you too have been frustrated at work?  It must be Jeff Bezos’ fault.  Shame we all work for the same guy.

Simplest solution is to avoid the northeast and Chicago area in general.  It’s worked really well for me over the years.

Only if the threads aren’t stripped.  If there are no threads left it will just spin endlessly.

Not only that, but it was replays of him NOT cutting the chicane!

Very true, you wouldn’t want to die of blood loss from having your arm ripped off in an accident, but it’s still better than battling cancer for 6 months in my opinion.  Hopefully it was the instantaneous kind of car crash, not anything drawn out.

I’m all for benches, especially in electric cars which typically have flat floors.  I loves sitting in the middle seat of the station wagon as a kid.

When Tesla stans claim Autopilot is “safer than a human driver” I always assume they’re talking about a distracted driver. I haven’t seen a single thing that Autopilot does that an average driver who is paying attention to what they’re doing couldn’t do. Is it better when that driver tries to keep their coffee from

Is dying while racing a Porsche through the woods at the age of 68 really such a bad way to go? It may be a little early, but man, I’d rather go out that way than any of the other millions of possibilities.

My dad bought and restored a ‘57 MGA that wasn’t in much better shape when I was a kid, he still has it. He’s driven it all over the country (Dallas to Lake Tahoe, Dallas to Chattanooga, Indianapolis, etc etc) with few major breakdowns along the way.

What’s up with all the BMWs being blue?

That sounds awful.  Honestly the entire post-race session seemed really disjointed and poorly coordinated.  It was pretty painful to watch.

I appreciate that, FIA.  Thank you for being considerate of my nap schedule.

Elizabeth, be honest with us. You fell asleep during the race and read the highlights somewhere else, right? I feel like calling Bottas retiring due to a wheel nut issue “drama” is a bit of an understatement, and this: “That was essentially Bottas’ race destroyed right there.” No, that was literally his race

His only passing happened in the pits due to tire strategy.  It was still one of the most exciting moments of the race, but unfortunately nobody got to see it because they cut away from it TWICE to show... nothing of importance.

That’s entirely untrue.  Vettel leapfrogged Hamilton and Gasly, and Stroll moved up from 13th to 9th.  There may have been no passing ON the track, but there were plenty of shakeups due to different strategies after that point.
