I made the mistake of pointing out that women interrupt men just as much. Boy was I wrong, I feel so utterly stupid and worthless now. She certainly stuck it to “me and my ilk.”

You certainly seem to be implying that men interrupting women is a “thing,” in contrast to women interrupting men. Otherwise why even bring it up?
“But men in general interrupting women? Jesus. Even my liberal father constantly, constantly interrupts my mother”
But lash out with unnecessary insults if it makes you feel…
Because women NEVER interrupt men. Just doesn’t happen! Erm....
I think It’s helpful to emphasize the landlord’s many shortcomings and failures over the span of your tenancy. For example the times when power was turned off without warning and you lost freezers full of food, or the time your expensive studio monitors blew in a power surge caused by shoddy electrical repairs.
Last year my landlord asked me over to discuss my lease. Uh-oh, I'm well overdue for a rent increase, I thought. So off I went. 30 minutes later I was leaving with a new lease @ $100/month less than what I was paying. To this day I have no idea how I did it, other than the fact that I babbled non-stop and wouldn't let…
Unfortunately, with something as widely used as Facebook you’re going to run into a myriad of examples of how low the standards of the general public are. For me, the final straw was when people were sharing the video of the dog trying to bury the fish in water and saying how amazing it was that the dog was trying to…
I have a feeling that not one word of the advice in this article will make the slightest bit of difference to how anyone shares photos on Facebook. People just don't care about quality, they really don't. Anyway, I remember reading years ago that if you upload your FB photos via email (i.e. sending them to the email…

Science? Who’s claiming it’s science?
Terrible analogy. You don’t need taut, rippling muscles to hold a pen lightly. Holding it lightly is all you need to do, and that does not take years of practice. Really.
Have you read Atlas Shrugged? It’s one hell of a long-ass book. And it was written longhand.
I’m the same, unless I consciously make the effort to improve my handwriting, in which case it looks pretty neat.
“Pen skills” include learning how to hold the pen properly without gripping too tightly. Professional artists, for example, can hold a pen or brush for hours without cramping up. Same thing applies to musicians. You have to learn to relax your hands, and your lines and curves will benefit as a result.
Because having a pen in your hand and writing out words has a psychological effect in that it brings you closer to the paper and you feel more of a connection with the words you’re writing. Guitar players who play fingerstyle rather than with a pick will often tell you a similar thing (myself included).
Or scan it and use handwriting recognition software.
Atlas Shrugged was all hand written. The whole lot. As were many books of that era and before. People nowadays whine about things before they’ve even tried them.
So scan it and use handwriting recognition software.
These days you can quite easily scan hand written text and convert it to digital formats.
Or, you know, a freakin pen and paper. You might just learn some long forgotten pen skills.
I also got a litany of problems from playing classical guitar. Neck problems, tendon problems, tennis elbow and also a recurring lower back problem related to having my foot up on the stool. Fuck Bach.
