I used to play COD Black Ops in university dorm with several of my friends... there were honestly like 7 or 8 ps3 owners just on my floor and we would play day in and day out and were pretty decent players, but it was never competitive - always just a social event.

Agreed... I used to play a game with my brother in San Andreas where one person would drive to a random spot on the map while the other was blindfolded/not looking and they then had to say where it was just by looking at the area and pointing on a physical map... We were better at it than you might think due to

I always love email addresses that make a new quasi-word when including a name and initial... "bashcraft" is simply one of the best... congrats

Just finished up Infamous: First Light, and really enjoyed it... Considering buying Second Son, if things really dry up in February... I'm also finally getting back and finishing LoZ: A Ling Between Worlds because I'm scum and didn't finish it in my first stint with the game... Finally, still trucking away with Eve

I've always looked forward to seeing your list, Stephen, and it inspired me to keep track of my gaming for a full year last year - it was really fun! Every day or so I would update this spreadsheet before bed.

Spelunky!

Looks neat! Definitely reminds me of 'Below' and that game looked badass at PAX when I played it....

I absolutely loved Drew Karpyshyn's Mass Effect novels... They are a must-read for ME fans... They add backstory to some interesting characters, and they are very well written - he was the writer for ME 1&2 and the Star Wars Old Republic games and books.

MLB: The Show on Vita to tie me over until the PS4 release!

This is pretty similar to like 30% of my Kerbal Space Program missions... ugh, RIP Jebidiah...

For reference, the Canadian standard unacceptable PM2.5 level is 30 ug/m^3... On any average day it is between 5-15 in Toronto... The much smaller city I live in (Halifax) almost never gets over 5...

That said, there are cities in China that routinely get readings of over 100-200... Beijing had readings over 1000 at

Vita or bust! After P4 Golden I can't imagine playing on a console; those games are just made for handhelds!

Nice, thanks Luke! I also wouldn't call myself a 'JRPG guy', but I loved Ni No Kuni and I love beautiful looking and sounding games... looks like I'll give it a try!

Leo, will you read me bedtime stories before i drift off to sleep?

This is such a noble thing to do... I worked for a potash mining company (PotashCorp), and there was a real halt in the industry demand last year; what did the company do? they laid off 20% of their workforce (over 1000 people)... meanwhile, the CEO makes $300 million /year... I understand that it's vastly different

I think the take-home here should be - specifically for reviews - to never just take one person/site's opinion... that is one thing that sites like Metacritic do well is allow you to see scores from many different outlets (some of which you trust or don't trust) and allow you to form your own opinion about a specific

Gah, this is going to send me into a spiral of YouTube-Zelda-Music... If anyone is interested, I compiled a bunch of "top 10 zelda songs" lists on YouTube once when I was bored - spoiler alert; Gerudo Valley was at the top, but some of the other top tracks may surprise you..

Top photo reminds me of Rage... It got luke warm reviews, but I really enjoyed that game.... should boot it up and give er another spin
