But the Mom DID do something. She engaged her child in a lesson about disobedience and the consequences of her actions. For a three 3 year old, that is a perfectly appropriate response. Do people actually believe spanking and/or yelling at her would have been more effective? My god, talking to and teaching a kid…

I have a myriad of social discomforts and suffer from pretty severe social anxiety, yet I have never- NEVER EVER- fantasized about inflicting harm or murdering anyone.
